The settlement was burned in March 29, 1836 and there are no surviving buildings from that period on the site. The tour uses as a reference a town plat drawn by Seth Ingram and is recorded in the Registro of Austin’s First Colony. It is part of the collection of the Texas General Land Office Archives.
